A local Herring Gull (2nd year bird) was hanging out at hawk watch today, and gave me a chance to play with the digiscoping vs. Sony a9 rigs. These images were taken with either the Sony a9 + 200-600mm f/5.6-6.3 lens or the Swarovski STX85+25-60X Eyepiece+Sony a7III+Zeiss 35mm f/2.8.

The quality from both systems is seriously impressive. I had to check the html coding for this blog to remember which image was taken with which rig (the blog text was copied from my BirdingThroughGlass blog).
